Marcy Allen : Maternity

Oh maternity shoots how I love thee! This is Marcy, she is 8 months pregnant  & the last time I photographed this family, Marcy had just had Perry who is now 2 & soon to be big brother to Adeline, due March 6th. Funny enough, Adeline is due the same day that Perry was due although he came a week early. Here is a good look at this shoot which captures both the beauty of Marcy but the amazing bond she shares with Perry & her husband Chris. 

 LOVE their front door which contrasts perfectly with the house & trim.

 The Allen's home offers plenty of scenic spots both inside & out to make for a perfect shoot

I can't wait to fill those tiny little shoes! For Adeline's one year session, I will definitely be reproducing this shot with her in it

This is one of my favorite shots. There is a lot of symbolism here with the door being open & waiting for a new member of the family to arrive. 

 Marcy has a special connection with the star you see behind her so this shot adds a lot of sentimental value. Something we always try to incorporate into our shoots. It creates a much more powerful image for the client. It's all about attaching an emotion! 

Thanks to Marcy, Chris & Perry for welcoming Portland Photo Co. into their home again to capture these adorable memories that will forever be theirs. We can't wait to meet Adeline, stayed tuned for her newborn session in March!
